The night starts at Healesville station. After enjoying
a glass of
soft drink or orange juice the trip under the stars leads
us to the magnificent sights and sounds of the valley
at night. Our rail journey through the bush, under and
over bridges, and through the tunnel presents us different
valley views and nocturnal wildlife every night.
When returning to Healesville station a beautiful smorgasbord
meal with barbequed chicken and a variety of salads is
awaiting us. A relaxed finish
to the night is accompanied by cake and biscuits with
a hot drink of your choice.

We will light the open fire at the station if
it is cool, or you may choose to sit out on the platform
on warm evenings.
Feel free to chat to the railway volunteers about the
history and future of this piece of Victoria’s Heritage
railway network.

| Booking
Bookings must be confirmed with a deposit of $5 per
person received by the Wednesday prior to travel. The
minimum number for Night Owl bookings is 20.
Bookings are welcome at a time and day to suit you.
Lunch time “Day Owls” can also be arranged.
